You would never believe these bars layered with decadent caramel, rich chocolate and peanuts are refined sugar-free. This healthy version of Snickers bars is the perfect sweet treat.

Healthy Chocolate Peanut Caramel Candy Bars

Ingredients

    Carramel Layer
  • 12 dates, pitted
  • 1/4 c + 1 tbsp all natural peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp all natural sugar-free maple syrup
    Chocolate Layer
  • sugar-free chocolate bar (80g) Lily's
    Other
  • 1/4 c unsalted peanuts

Instructions

  1. Place all base ingredients into a food processor and blend until combined. Remove and press into a loaf pan lined with plastic or parchment paper. Place in the freezer while you prepare your caramel layer.
  2. Place all caramel ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth. You will need to stop and scrape the sides from time to time. Press the caramel evenly over the base.
  3. Sprinkle peanuts over the caramel layer press them down into the caramel.
  4. Melt chocolate bar and pour evenly over the peanuts and spread using a rubber spatula. Return to the freezer for 1 hour before cutting into slices and serving.

Notes

For vegan use vegan chocolate and protein.
