How to make this protein bar recipe

This protein bar recipe comes together quickly. Feel free to double the recipe for larger batches but I’ve always enjoyed making a couple of bars at a time so they stay fresh.

  • almond butter or cashew butter – I used a no-stir almond butter
  • vanilla whey protein powder – I’ve only ever tested this recipe with vanilla whey protein so substitute at your own risk
  • VitaClassic syrup see notes for substitutions – you can get the VitaClassic Syrup here.
  • sprinkles optional

Instructions

  • In a microwave safe bowl, gently melt the syrup and almond butter together. Mix using a fork until combined.
  • Add the protein powder and continue mixing until you get a sticky dough forms and then use your hands to separate the dough into two evenly sized balls.
  • Mold dough into a bar shape and top with sprinkles before the bars set.
  • Let sit and room temp for 10-15 minutes before serving. This will allow for the bar to set completely.

That’s it! So easy right?
