Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso

Equipment

  • shaker or mason jar
  • small pot

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 4.5 oz hot espresso machine or instant
  • dash cinnamon
  • 1 cup ice more for serving
  • ½ - 1 cup oat milk

Instructions

  • Make the brown sugar syrup by adding the brown sugar and water to a small pot over medium heat for 1 minute and the brown sugar has melted. Remove from heat.
  • Add the espresso, ice, brown sugar syrup and dash of cinnamon to a shaker or mason jar with lid. Shake vigorously until frothy.
  • Pour the contents into a tall serving glass, add a few more ice cubes and top with oat milk - however much you desire!
  • Enjoy!

Notes

For a sweeter beverage, double the syrup.
