White Chocolate Banana Bread Madeleines | Gluten Free

Healthy banana bread madeleines are tender and cakey cookies dipped in white chocolate and sprinkled with dark chocolate curls. These delicate little cookies are made gluten free using minimal ingredients.

Healthier White Chocolate Dipped Banana Bread Madeleines

This was my first attempt at creating a healthier recipe for madeleines. My only experience with these classic French cookies is at Starbucks as an impulse buy at the checkout counter. Side note: their pumpkin spice madeleines are amazing AF!

Anyway, I bought a madeleine pan a couple of weeks ago and decided to play it safe with these white chocolate dipped banana bread madeleines. You can’t make these cookies without this pan. This delicious white chocolate madeleine recipe came together using just a few gluten free ingredients:

  • ripe banana
  • egg
  • granulated erythritol, Truvia or coconut sugar
  • coconut oil
  • gluten free baking flour
  • vanilla extract
  • baking powder
  • white chocolate chips
  • dark chocolate curls

I’m already dying to create other Madeleine cake flavors. Double chocolate hazelnut and cranberry orange might be my next go! I would love to get some other ideas so don’t hesitate to leave a comment with what flavor you would like to see next.
