No secret ingredients in these trail mix brownies
I love a good alternative brownie made with weird ingredients that are naturally gluten-free like beans, avocado, dates, or zucchini–you name it and I’ve made it and enjoyed it. But these brownies are different. There are no secret ingredients here, just a few ingredients that you would normally find in it’s floured counterpart.
Here’s what you will need to make these life changing brownies:
- chocolate (dark, milk, sugar-free or whatever your heart desires – I used dairy-free)
- unsweetened cocoa powder (I used a mixture of regular and special dark)
- oil (I used coconut oil but olive oil or melted butter will also work)
- granulated sweetener of choice (I used Truvia)
- Power Up Snack Mix to load these brownies with crunchy goodness
- vanilla extract
I was lucky enough to partner up with Power Up Snacks to bring you these incredible brownies loaded with fresh nuts, seeds and dried fruit. I used some of Antioxidant Mix and some of the Protein Packed Mix to make an incredible mix of my own. The best part about Power Up trail mix is that there’s absolutely no additives, preservatives or stale nuts. Their blends are expertly crafted and produced in small batches to ensure the highest quality and taste! Get your gourmet nut mix on their website powerupsnacks.com
The Antioxidant Mix is my favorite, made with blend of pecans, cranberries, walnuts, raisins, blueberries and dark chocolate (YAY) create a snack with a taste that is out of this world. They make for a perfect crunch and flavor to my delicious chocolate brownies.
