Healthy Chocolate Chia Seed Granola

This gluten free, vegan healthy chocolate granola is bursting with almonds, coconut and chocolate chips for the perfect crunchy snack!

Healthy Chocolate Granola

What you need to make this healthy chocolate granola

If you know me well, then you know that I have oats for breakfast every single day! Seriously, I don’t care what form they are in, I just have to have them for breakfast and there’s no way around it.

Usually I just have some overnight oats and sometimes I’ll toss my favorite granola in my oats (yes, oats on oats) for a little extra crunch. Sometimes (like now) I’m confined in my house because of a pandemic and have to make my own granola.

No biggie, homemade granola is just as good as store bought for a fraction of the price, not to mention it’s much healthier!

So here’s what you need to get started…

  • rolled oats (gluten free if necessary)
  • unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Truvia or coconut sugar
  • chia seeds
  • coconut shreds, unsweetened
  • almonds, raw
  • walnuts, raw
  • salt
  • coconut oil
  • maple syrup
  • chocolate chips

The granola is in the oven right now! It smells so good in our house. The kids got distracted 😁 They are yummy, just by scraping the bowl. We can’t wait for the finish product! Thank you for the recipe.
